Teaching Experience :

  • 30 years teaching experience at the college level

  • 15 years as Photography Department Head, Oregon College of Art and Craft

  • Expertise with analog, digital, 19th Century, and experimental photographic materials, tools, and processes.

  • Expertise with analog darkroom mural printing materials, tools, and processes

  • Expertise with Location and Studio Lighting equipment and practices

  • Expertise with design and operation of a Digital Imaging Lab including networked scanners, computers, and wide format 44" and 63" Epson printers.

  • I have, at one time or another during my lengthy career, taught photography classes or workshops for grade school, high school, and college students, continuing education students, teachers, other artists, and just about anyone else who doesn't fall into one of these categories.

  • I have had the honor of working with regional Native American students and other Under-Served Youth through programs at OCAC and Caldera.
